Nyeri County is perhaps the most famous coffee-growing area in Kenya, attracting interest from the specialty industry for its geo-climatological conditions. Othaya Farmer's Cooperative Society (FCS) is made up of 19 washing stations located between the southern slopes of Mount Kenya and the Abderdare (Nyandarua) range.
The combination of very fertile volcanic soil, altitude, two humid seasons with high rainfall and low night temperatures provide the ideal climate to harvest a slowly ripened cherry, with intense fruit flavor and great complexity/acidity that we hope you will enjoy with great pleasure.
