Why we like it?

As the temperature drops, the floral aroma and flavors of juicy fruits such as mango or sweet stone increase.

Hayisa village is located in Keramo kebele, Bure woreda, Sidama zone. The region has abundant sunlight and exceptional altitude along with fertile volcanic soil and continuous rain, the positive result of which is relatively cool temperatures that allow slow ripening of the cherries.

The Morke washing station, located in the province of Sidamo, purchases coffee cherries from the direct farm of Nigussie Geneda and from small producers around a 5km radius. Morke and more specifically the Sidamo region, are known for producing some of the best coffees in the world. Indigenous varieties of Arabica, which still grow wild in Ethiopia, contribute to a juicy profile that, when naturally processed, is characterized by fruity tropical and stone fruit flavors with light floral notes.
